On Air Today: Building Bookcases for a Cause, with Book Harvest and Hope Renovations

Aaron welcomes two local nonprofits who are joining forces for an exciting new project that supports both of their missions at once. Book Harvest collects book donations to give to local kids, to make sure every young person has a home library to spark the love of reading – and Hope Renovations provides training in the skilled trades for women, who are rarely encouraged to pursue those highly lucrative careers.

Now they’re working together: the women of Hope Renovations are building bookcases, to donate to the families served by Book Harvest.

Aaron welcomes Nora Spencer of Hope Renovations and Tabitha Blackwell of Book Harvest to discuss the new venture.
