Ashley is responsible for coordinating all logistics for programming including Books on Break and Seed Grants. She serves as the liaison for our Books on Break team in Durham and assists with evaluation of the program incorporating feedback from stakeholders and working to continuously improve the program, refine the model, and add other summer programming to the portfolio.

Ashley has 14 years as a Pre-K, K, & 1st grade classroom educator. She has worked in many diverse settings including rural Louisiana, East Harlem in NYC, and most recently, Raleigh.

In her free time she is an avid reader, baker of sweet treats, dog mom to pup Pippa, and explorer of coffee shops. Although her favorite children's book is constantly evolving, two at the top of her list are "Jabari Jumps" and "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom."
