Teen Book Donor Makes Incredible Contribution

We recently received an amazing donation of books from Charles, a senior in high school, who reached out to us about donating books he had been collecting through his small book charity program over the past five years. With college on the horizon, he was looking for a good home for the remainder of his collection — approximately 40 boxes (BOXES!) of children’s books!

Charles couldn’t be there in person for the drop-off because he was attending the William & Mary 1693 Scholars Weekend — and we’re thrilled to share that he was awarded a full-ride scholarship as a finalist! 🎉 While Charles was away, his father and brother delivered box after box of incredible books to our organization.

The quality and variety of titles donated is truly impressive and will make a significant impact on our mission. Charles' generous contribution highlights something we've known from the beginning: young people are a driving force behind our organization's success. From our founding to the present day, teenagers and young adults have been instrumental in donating materials, volunteering their time, and spreading awareness about our cause.

We're grateful to Charles (and his family!) for his remarkable donation and wish him all the best as he embarks on his college journey.
