Frida Daniels Sanchez
Senior Program Coordinator, Book Babies
Start Date: July 2023
Frida Daniels brings a unique blend of international experience and a deep commitment to early childhood development to her role as Senior Program Coordinator, Book Babies. Originally from Calabozo, Venezuela, where she worked for over a decade as a Certified Public Accountant and independent real estate agent, Frida transitioned to early childhood education after emigrating to the US, working at Forest View Elementary School in Durham as a kindergarten instructional assistant.
Since joining Book Harvest, Frida has become an integral administrative lead, ensuring the operational effectiveness and logistics needs of the entire Book Babies portfolio across multiple active and prospective counties. She leverages her extensive experience in managing complex projects to provide strategic support to literacy coaches and program managers, managing high-volume family communications and coordinating core administrative tasks. Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, Frida manages all mass communication platforms, coordinates outreach for program referrals, and maintains the essential materials inventory that fuels home visits and program delivery.
Frida is team-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about working with children and families. In her free time, she enjoys sharing her love of reading with her son; her favorite children's book is The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson, illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
