Supporting our friends at McDougald Terrace

Benay Hicks

Thanks to so many of our local friends who have reached out to ask about supporting our neighbors who have been displaced from McDougald Terrace. We are working to help identify whether there are needs that Book Harvest is specifically equipped to address, but in the meantime, we encourage everyone who wants to provide immediate support to do so through our partner organization, United Way of the Greater Triangle.

Here’s a link with information about how you can help now through the Durham One Fund, by providing financial support or donations of residents’ most-needed supplies: https://www.unitedwaytriangle.org/durham-one-fund-now-accepting/
