Patrick Torres
Associate Director, Corporate Partnerships
Patrick Torres (he/him) is a nationally recognized nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing arts, education, and community engagement. As Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships, he leads Book Harvest's strategies to grow corporate partnerships and philanthropic investment in support of early childhood literacy and family empowerment.
Patrick brings a relationship-driven approach to sponsorship development, aligning mission-focused organizations with partners to create meaningful, community-centered impact. Before Book Harvest, he served as Executive Director of Creative Action in Austin, Texas, where he led the organization through a period of strategic transformation, including a comprehensive restructure, capital campaign advancement, and expanded cross-sector partnerships.
Previously, Torres was Artistic Director of Raleigh Little Theatre, where he championed inclusive practices and launched artist development programs for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ creatives. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with Young Playwrights’ Theater and The Shakespeare Theatre Company, contributing to nationally recognized youth programs honored by the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award.
A Theatre Communications Group Young Leader of Color alum and recipient of the Raleigh Medal of Arts, Torres is known for building authentic partnerships and advancing equity-centered leadership.
He holds a BFA from Texas State University and an MFA in Theatre Arts from the University of Southern Mississippi.
