Gabby Bunnell

External Relations Coordinator
Gabby graduated from Duke University with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Environmental Studies. Since graduating, she has had a wide range of experiences, including working in animal cognition research, studying conservation psychology, and teaching English to high school students in France.

Ultimately pursuing the intersection of her passions for both sustainability and reading, Gabby worked at a used bookstore in Raleigh (Dog-Eared Books) where she was introduced to the Triangle Area’s circular book economy and first encountered Book Harvest’s programs. She is excited to bring her passion for sustainable literacy systems and her unique experiences in research and communication to the Book Harvest Team.

Gabby spends her free time reading, running (likely listening to an audiobook), and playing with her cats. Her favorite children’s book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
