As Community Engagement Coordinator, Daniela strengthens our partnerships with community members and local organizations through event coordination, Book Hub management, and Storywalk curation. She also supports the Data & Evaluation team with data cleaning, organization, and reporting.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Daniela began her non-profit work as a Family Advocate for Head Start families. She joined Book Harvest in 2024 as a Family Engagement Assistant through the AmeriCorps Duke LiteracyCorps program.

Outside of Book Harvest, Daniela enjoys spending time with her many pets, hiking, and playing classical guitar! Her favorite children’s book is Wemberly Worried by Kevin Henkes, and she is the co-founder and co-leader of the Book Harvest Durham Kids Book Club!
