Dani Rangel

Literacy Coach
As a Literacy Coach for Book Babies, Dani Rangel facilitates a portfolio of quarterly home visits to approximately 100 families, serving as a dedicated partner in early language and literacy development. Dani’s approach is centered on creating joyful, culturally empowering environments where they model reading strategies and provide curated resources that help families reach their unique literacy goals. Deeply committed to the belief that literacy is a tool for connection, Dani weaves the wisdom of ancestral practices into their coaching to foster strong family bonds and a lifelong love of reading.

Dani’s work is underpinned by an academic background in History, International Relations, and Anthropology, which provides a rich framework for understanding diverse family dynamics and cultural contexts. As a Cuban native raised in Miami, Dani is passionate about sharing their own cultural heritage and connecting with families through the power of shared stories.
