Turning Pages: Bilingual Storytime with NC Museum of History

Turning Pages is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Storytime for all ages, with welcome songs, a story, followed by a fun craft/activity (often led by a partner organization!). Families will also have the opportunity to use the Family Space freely before and after the Storytime, including choosing books for the children to take home and keep. The storytime will take place in the Book Harvest Family space from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

Our friends from the North Carolina Museum of History will be joining us with a fun activity and artifacts from the Museum! We’ll read "The All Together Quilt" by Lizzy Rockwell, a picture book based on the true story of the Norwalk Community Quilt Project. After the story, we’ll explore North Carolina’s rich quilting history and design our own quilt square. Plus lots of quilt materials to touch!
